The location of the vase with the flowers is also very important, being recommendable in a cool place at night and during the day it is the important good lighting but that does not receive sunlight directly.

The water that we should use is warm water for most of the cut flowers, and if possible cold water for the bulb flowers or roses.

Another option for this contribution of food can be to put a bit of sweet coal if you have, or failing a teaspoon of sugar or salt. You can do this day if, not day.

Another trick for the supply of mineral salts and food for the plant is through Sprite or 7 UP. Put a quarter of a cup of some of these products together with the water.

One trick that you may not know and works very well is the treatment with vodka. Add a spoonful of sugar and 3 or 4 drops of vodka and dissolve it with a little water and add it to the water in the vase. Why?

Because vodka inhibits the growth of bacteria and sugar provides the food to the flowers through the supply of mineral salts.
